By paying to reserve an item you are agreeing to the following terms. Please consider this before renting.

Terms & Conditions – Coastalrents

1. Payment
1.1 Full payment must be made online before collection or postage of the garment.

2. Bookings
2.1 Dates are only reserved once full payment has been received.

3. Rental Period
3.1 For postage hires, the garment must be returned over-the-counter at a post office (not a street posting box) by 4pm on the next business day after your event. Late returns may incur fees.
3.2 For in-person hires, garments must be returned within 2 days after the event unless otherwise arranged.
3.3 Return postage must be arranged at booking.

4. Bonds
4.1 A bond applies to all garments, with the cost depending on the item.
4.2 Bonds are returned within 2–3 business days after inspection confirms the dress is in its original condition.
4.3 Bonds are not refundable if alterations or adjustments have been made without our consent.
4.4 If additional cleaning or repairs are required, the cost will be deducted from the bond, which may be held temporarily.

5. Dry Cleaning
5.1 Dry cleaning costs are included in the hire price and vary by garment.
5.2 Do not attempt to clean garments yourself
5.3 Garments are folded and wrapped in tissue paper for postage. Some fabrics may develop fold lines

6. Postage
6.1 If Australia Post delays prevent the garment from arriving in time, a full refund including postage will be issued.
6.2 If a posted garment does not fit, a store credit valid for 12 months can be issued, provided the garment is returned over-the-counter within 24 hours of delivery.

7. Try-Ons
7.1 Booking a try-on does not reserve the garment for your event. 7.2 Try-ons run for 20 minutes and you can try on the dresses we have available during this time. You are welcome to bring one another person to your try on.

8. Store Credits
8.1 Store credits are valid for 12 months and can only be used by the person who made the original booking.
8.2 Rental dates must fall within the 12-month validity period.

9. Cancellation & Refunds
9.1 If you need to cancel for any reason, including a change of mind, we can issue a store credit up to 14 days prior to your event.
9.2 Cancellations within 14 days of the event are non-refundable.
9.3 Store credits are valid for 12 months from the date of issue and must be used within this period.

10. Damages
10.1 Full RRP must be paid for items damaged beyond repair.
10.2 Customers acknowledge that garments are second-hand; minor wear is not eligible for refunds or discounts.
